چکیده

Domestic RO systems are commonly installed in households for water purification and treatment, typically drinking purposes. While effectively remove impurities, such as dissolved salts, minerals, contaminants from tap water, they produce a concentrated waste stream known reject. This reject contains the that were removed during filtration process. can be utilized other domestic, agricultural, industrial applications. In this study, performance of photovoltaic/thermal (PV/T) system was experimentally examined by employing MgO/water-based nano-fluid. Two 165 W polycrystalline solar PV modules used to compare PV/T module. The module assessed terms cell temperature electrical efficiency using water- system. Furthermore, thermal overall also compared different base fluids. effect working fluid flow rate (3 LPM, 6 9 12 LPM) variations concentrations (0.10 wt.%, 0.15 0.20 wt.%) MgO nanoparticles evaluate improvement results indicate system’s significantly reduced, its electrical, thermal, increased with an rate. optimum concentration determined wt.% respectively. findings suggest nano-fluids have potential enhance systems, study provides valuable insights their practical implementation.

Effect of Organoclay on the Performance of Reverse Osmosis Membrane

This study investigated the effect of Cloisite15A (C15A) organoclay in the substrate layer on the performance of reverse osmosis (RO) membranes. The substrate of the RO membranes was modified using different loading of C15A (ranging from 0.3 - 0.7 wt%) within polysulfone (PSf) substrate and the polyamide (PA) selective layer was formed on the top. Effect of the modified substrate layer on the w...
